"Opponents of birth control don't just want to limit access in the U.S., they want to slash U.S. support for international family planning programs. For several years, the national spotlight has shone on the need to prevent and rapidly treat opioid overdoses. But a new study suggests a need for more focus on the risk of alcohol overdoses among people who use opioids of all kinds, as well as cocaine, marijuana and certain prescription drugs.
ACE Group today announced the introduction of standalone Passenger Accident Insurance. This coverage provides accidental death and dismemberment and accident medical/dental expense benefits for authorized passengers who are injured while traveling with a driver who is working under the operating authority of the motor carrier.
The vaccine used against swine flu has been linked to a disorder called narcolepsy among those aged four to 19. Narcolepsy involves people falling asleep without warning or sleeping excessively in the daytime. A preliminary study also "observed [an] increase in incidence of narcolepsy" among those given the vaccine.
