ADVENTRX Pharmaceuticals, Inc. announced today that it received a refuse to file letter from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regarding its New Drug Application (NDA) for ANX-530 (vinorelbine injectable emulsion). In the letter, the FDA indicated that the data included in the initial submission from the intended commercial manufacturing site was insufficient to support a commercially-viable expiration dating period. FDA identified only the one chemistry, manufacturing and controls (CMC) reason for the refusal to file. ADVENTRX plans to meet with the FDA as soon as possible to discuss its response.
In their November issue, the Aesthetic Surgery Journal published a new breakthrough facelifting technique which gives superior results with fewer complications than current techniques in practice. The pioneer of this new Minimal Access Deep Plane Extended Vertical "MADE" Facelift is NY Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon, Dr. Andrew Jacono.
On February 11, 2005, the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) reported a case of HIV infection with a strain that is resistant to many drugs in three classes of HIV medications, and which appears to have progressed to AIDS within 4 to 20 months after infection.
While obesity significantly increases your chances of developing heart failure, for those with established heart failure it may confer a survival benefit compared with normal weight or underweight individuals, a new paper by researchers from the University of Adelaide reports.
