Now, two innovative research studies are being conducted at the new UT Physicians Colic Clinic at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) to help both crying babies and their worried parents.
A new review of the research literature led by researchers at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health shows that cholera vaccines provide substantial protection for adults but provide significantly less protection for children under age 5, a population particularly at risk for dying from this diarrheal disease.
The Association of Academic Health Centers (AAHC) launched the Education and Training Clinical Research Compliance Tool designed to assist academic health center leaders, research administrators, compliance and clinical trials office administrators, and directors of compliance education and training in strengthening and improving the development and implementation of clinical research compliance education and training programs.
