To help families cope immediately and long after this tragic event, Becca Peden and Serena Gragert have established the Baby Angels Foundation, a nonprofit organization aimed at raising awareness of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) and funding much-needed resources for bereaved parents in Minnesota and western Wisconsin.
Aduro BioTech, Inc. announced today that the Office of Orphan Products Development of the Food and Drug Administration has granted orphan drug designation for CRS-207, a novel immunotherapy, for the treatment of pancreatic cancer.
Data published today in The Lancet from ABSORB, the world's first clinical trial of a fully bioabsorbable drug eluting stent for the treatment of coronary artery disease, demonstrated no stent thrombosis, no clinically driven target lesion revascularizations (re-treatment of a diseased lesion), and a low (3.3 percent) rate of major adverse cardiac events (MACE) in 30 patients out to one year.
