Researchers at UT Southwestern Medical Center have found that patients with a mild form of Cushing syndrome, a metabolic disorder caused by adrenal tumors, demonstrate substantial clinical improvement after adrenalectomy.
Navitus Health Solutions, LLC announced today it has signed contracts to provide pharmacy benefits to three government trusts in Arizona. The contracts are with the Arizona Local Government Employee Benefit Trust (AZLGEBT), Rural Arizona Group Health Trust (RAGHT) and the Cochise Combined Trust. Together, the trusts include 16 groups (seven municipalities, seven counties and two school systems).
Ellipse Technologies, Inc. announced today it has received CE Mark (Conformité Européenne) for its MAGECTM Technology for the treatment of spinal deformity. The first application for this technology is for the treatment of spinal scoliosis in young children and teenagers. The CE Mark allows the Company to market the MAGEC System in the European Union and other countries that recognize the CE Mark for commercial distribution purposes.
