Salix and Lupin have entered into a development, commercialization and license agreement under which the two companies will collaborate in the development and commercialization of a product incorporating rifaximin and utilizing Lupin's proprietary technology.
Risk factors for heart disease and stroke appear to hasten the risk of cognitive decline in normal older individuals with evidence of very early Alzheimer's-disease-associated changes in the brain.
