Aquavit Life Sciences, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Aquavit Pharmaceuticals, Inc., announces together with Uniquest Corporation (KOSPI: 077500) a Memorandum Of Understanding to form an Alliance Partnership for the development, registration and manufacturing of Aquavit Pharmaceuticals' PITO-001.
Some children conceived by a common method of IVF could be carrying chunks of bacterial DNA in their chromosomes, according to a study in mice. The researchers who conducted the work say that such accidental genetic modification would be very rare, but they argue that fertility doctors should take more precautions to exclude it.
Two new studies published in the April 4 online issue of Neurology, the medical journal of the American Academy of Neurology, suggest that a person's memory declines at a faster rate in the last two-and-a-half years of life than at any other time after memory problems first begin. The second study shows that keeping mentally fit through board games or reading may be the best way to preserve memory during late life.
