The National Family Caregivers Association (NFCA) has teamed up with the national pain management education program, Partners Against Pain®, and advocate and author Lee Woodruff to create the new Caregiver Cornerstones resource.
Doxorubicin, a 50-year-old chemotherapy drug still in widespread use against a variety of cancers, has long been known to destroy heart tissue, as well as tumors, in some patients.
When people hear voices, it is whether those voices fit or are at odds with their life goals and values that governs whether they find them distressing.
Our immunosensory system detects virus such as influenza via specific characteristics of viral ribonucleic acid. Previously, it was unclear how the immune system prevents viruses from simply donning molecular camouflage in order to escape detection.
