TSO3 Inc. is pleased to announce that it has filed a final short form prospectus with the securities regulatory authorities in all provinces of Canada with respect to a previously announced public offering of 10,000,000 common shares for gross proceeds to the Company of C$16 million. The prospectus also qualifies for the distribution of 150,000 Common shares sold by Simon Robitaille, one of the Company's founders and Chief Scientific Officer, for gross proceeds of $240,000.
Nymox Pharmaceutical Corporation is pleased to report positive new results from the 30-36 month follow-up study of patients treated with NX-1207 in Study NX02-0016. The initial study, completed in the U.S. in 2007, reached statistical significance in Intent-to-Treat Primary Efficacy outcomes at 90 days and 6 months post-treatment with NX-1207 2.5 mg.
The creatinine clearance (Ccr) test has been used as a gold standard for evaluation of preoperative renal function in patients with gastric cancer. However, it is known that Ccr is not strictly equivalent to glomerular filtration rate (GFR). It has been accepted that estimated GFR (eGFR) is equal to measured GFR in chronic kidney disease. However, there have been no studies regarding the reliability of eGFR as a preoperative renal function test in gastric cancer patients.
A recently discovered signaling system in the brain has just been shown to be turned on by methamphetamine, an Oregon Health & Science University study found.
