The conference, organized by the American Physiological Society, will explore SCD- the world's most prevalent single-gene mutation disease-; and new research on preventing and reversing its deadly consequences.
In a new study researchers in the U.S. have shown that organic diets meant that children had less exposure to two common pesticides.
A series of studies are published in a special supplement that presents results of the Maternal and Newborn Health in Ethiopia Partnership—a three-year pilot program funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation with the goal of improving the health of Ethiopian mothers and their newborns.
