Results of the study, which were presented at the 2010 International Society of Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgeons meeting in Berlin, Germany, indicated that after one year 80% of patients were in sinus rhythm and off anti-arrhythmic medication as a result of the closed chest, multi-disciplinary AF procedure.
