Samumed, LLC, a leader in tissue regeneration, announced today that it will present preclinical and clinical data on a small molecule modulator of the Wnt pathway (SM04690, an investigational new drug) for potential disease modifying treatment of osteoarthritis (OA) of the knee at 2015 American College of Rheumatology Annual Meeting.
Synosia Therapeutics today announced the first clinical study results showing that SYN-118 provides clinically meaningful benefits to Parkinson's patients, has a good safety profile and is well tolerated. Results from an open-label, proof-of-mechanism study of SYN-118 (CL02) were presented at the World Parkinson Congress in Glasgow, Scotland.
Adjusting the radiation dose based upon a child's weight can significantly lower the radiation dose associated with pediatric chest computed tomography (CT) scans, according to a study published in the May issue of the American Journal of Roentgenology (www.ajronline.org).
