Researchers say that there is no significant reduction in angiographic graft failure with arterial grafts compared with saphenous vein grafts in revascularization of the right coronary system.
An international consensus panel led by researchers from The Westmead Institute for Medical Researchhas highlighted the need to redefine Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease, and to name it Metabolic Associated Fatty Liver Disease. Researchers highlighted that the new terminology will better reflect its causes, and improve public health initiatives.
Biophysicists from the MIPT Center for Molecular Mechanisms of Aging and Age-Related Diseases have teamed up with colleagues from Canada, the U.S., Japan, France, and Germany to shed light on the structure and functioning mechanism of the CysLT receptors, which regulate inflammatory responses associated with allergic disorders.
Infants show unique physiological and behavioral responses to pleasant touch, which may help to cement the bonds between child and parent and promote early social and physiological development, according to research published in Psychological Science, a journal of the Association for Psychological Science.
