Highland Therapeutics Inc., an emerging pharmaceutical company, today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary has begun enrolment in a Phase III study of HLD-200, the Company's novel formulation of methylphenidate, in pediatric patients with Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder ("ADHD").
On Monday, September 13, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius will address approximately 3,000 HIV/AIDS activists and advocates at the United States Conference on AIDS (USCA) in Orlando, Florida, the largest AIDS-related gathering in the country.
Consumers know they will have to pay out of their pockets if they use medical providers outside their insurers' networks. But because of a little-noticed change, they may find themselves with even bigger bills than they expect.
"Louisiana will start paying less money Tuesday to many private health care providers for taking care of Medicaid patients, a move the state health department estimates will save $86 million this year," The Associated Press/The Advocate reports.
