A new study in General Hospital Psychiatry finds patients visiting the hospital for a variety of ailments can be easily screened for depression and anxiety as they wait for care, information that can then be sent immediately to their doctor to address.
The obesity rate may rise to 42 percent from about a third of the U.S. population by 2030 if nothing changes, according to a report. Bristol-Myers Squibb Company announced today that belatacept, an investigational selective T cell co-stimulation blocker being studied for use in solid organ transplantation, will be the subject of eight clinical presentations related to kidney transplantation at the American Transplant Congress, being held May 1 - 5 in San Diego.
