With a newly discovered method of assembling organic molecules, a team of Princeton University chemists may have found a way to sidestep many of the expensive and hazardous barriers that stand in the way of drug development.
Diseases such as lupus that cause rashes and other skin problems also can trigger migraine headaches, strokes and other serious neurological conditions, according to an article by Loyola University Medical Center physicians.
A new study in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute, published by Oxford University Press, indicates that recent-onset type 2 diabetes may be early expression of pancreatic cancer.
High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) treatment is a non-invasive method that removes unhealthy tissues and tumors by delivering high intensity ultrasound waves from outside of the body to the lesion. It does only a minimal damage to the normal tissues around the lesion and allows fast recovery of a patient which is why this innovative treatment has been called as the "ultrasound of the next generation."
