People living with HIV/AIDS in New Jersey could be negatively affected by prescription drug co-payments included in Gov. Jon Corzine's (D) proposed $29.8 billion budget, advocates told state lawmakers on Tuesday, the Newark Star-Ledger reports.
Bristol-Myers Squibb Company and AstraZeneca today announced that the European Commission has approved a label update for ONGLYZA in the treatment of adults with type 2 diabetes who have moderate or severe renal impairment. The approved dosage for the patient group is a new once-daily 2.5 mg dose.
Wasington Post: "President Obama decried Saturday what he called the 'outlandish' claims by critics of his plans for health-care reform as he continued to ratchet up his personal rhetoric in support of the changes he hopes to make. In his weekly Internet and radio address, the president pushed back against claims 'that reform will promote euthanasia, cut Medicaid, or bring about a government takeover of health care.
