In a new study that examined living kidney donors' concerns about their decision to undergo kidney removal, long-term kidney health, aspects of surgery and recovery, and impacts on life satisfaction were among those that donors felt were most important.
The Bluetooth SIG has awarded Edward Sazonov, Physical Activity Innovations LLC, the title of Bluetooth Innovator of the Year for 2009. Sazonov received this recognition at the official award ceremony held in-line with the Wearable Technologies Show at ispo 2010, the world's largest trade show for sporting goods.
Researchers at the UK's national synchrotron facility, Diamond Light Source, have just published the 5000th scientific paper using data from the facility. This milestone marks a significant step for the synchrotron that is used by over 8,000 scientists each year.
What do Italy's Trevi Fountain, India's Charminar monument, and the New York Stock Exchange building have in common?
