A new study reveals a potential link between disordered sleep and kidney function loss and early death among individuals with chronic kidney disease (CKD).
New research has found that rates of disease caused by the bacterium Streptococcus pneumoniae could be substantially reduced by changing our approach to vaccination.
An analysis of randomized controlled trials indicates that use of the cancer drug bevacizumab is associated with an increased risk of venous thromboembolism (blood clots in the deep veins of the legs or in the lungs), according to an article in the November 19 issue of JAMA, the Journal of the American Medical Association.
In North America, ovarian cancer is the second most common gynecological cancer and is the leading cause of death among women with gynecological cancer.
