The Department of Justice is investigating Wales West RV Resort in Silverhill, Ala., in preparation for a possible discrimination lawsuit after a manager at the facility prohibited an HIV-positive child from using the facility's swimming pool and restrooms in July 2007, the Birmingham Press-Register reports (Bean, Birmingham Press-Register, 5/19).
A Eurac Research study on acclimatisation and de-acclimatisation will take place in the terraXcube centre for the simulation of extreme climates. Internationally renowned, especially for his extreme winter climbs, mountaineer Simone Moro, and Tamara Lunger, one of the world's strongest high-altitude climbers, announce the destination of their next expedition.
The Obama administration has identified specific groups of people it would like to focus on as it promotes enrollment in the state health insurance exchanges next year.
