Florida will be the focus of a three year effort to let the public know that mental illness can be felt in almost every community, that treatment is available, and that recovery can be expected, the federal Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) announced today.
Deputy Health Minister Rhona Brankin says that despite rows over reforms of the profession the Scottish Executive will maintain good links with dentists.
A research collaboration between the universities of Oslo and Aarhus has resulted in the development of a new method with diagnostic potential. The new method that combines phase extraction with an enzymatic reaction may eventually be used for an improved and faster screening analysis of isatin as a potential indicator of stress and neurological disorders.
For the first time in history the number of people worldwide suffering from obesity now exceeds the number suffering from hunger.
