Research from the University of Kent, the Research center on Interactive Media, Smart systems and Emerging technologies - RISE Ltd and the University of Cyprus has revealed that Virtual Reality technology can have significant impact on the validity of remote health appointments for those with eating disorders, through a process called Virtual Reality Exposure Therapy.
Advanced Cell Technology, a leader in the field of regenerative medicine, provided an update today on the status of its myoblast program. The program has successfully and safely completed Phase I human clinical trials in more than forty patients in over four independent studies.
BioTrends Research Group, Inc. released Wave 3 of its LaunchTrends®: Feraheme report, the third in a multi-phase syndicated market research project tracking the launch of AMAG's new IV iron product, Feraheme, through the first six months of product availability. Each wave of the report provides quantitative information from 50 unique Nephrologists and qualitative information from a subset of 15. The reports assess trial and use of Feraheme, obstacles to use, reasons to use, typical patient types, product perceptions, promotional efforts/messages, and product satisfaction.
In the EVICURES project a design model for future intensive and intermediate care facilities was developed at Seinäjoki Central Hospital. The results of research conducted by VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland Ltd on evidence-based design (EBD) and user-orientation were applied to the design work.
