Six days is all it takes for a common, non-disease-causing virus to kill cervical, breast, prostate and squamous cell cancer cells in laboratory cultures, according to Penn State College of Medicine researchers.
A study conducted by the Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal) has revealed that air pollution exposure on home-to-school routes can have harmful effects on cognitive development in children. The aim of the study was to evaluate the impact of air pollution exposure during the home-to-school walking commute.
In the fractious debate on the existence of God and the nature of religion, two distinguished scientists radically alter the discussion.
