New research indicates that certain anti-cancer therapies may hasten cellular aging, where changes in the DNA of patients may contribute to greater inflammation and fatigue.
Carticept Medical, Inc., a developer of innovative drug delivery systems, announced today that it has received 510(k) clearance from the Food and Drug Administration for its enhanced Navigator Delivery System, the first and only FDA-cleared, computer-controlled injection system intended to increase the efficiency, comfort, safety and accuracy of musculoskeletal injections.
According to the latest figures, women over the age of 80 are at the highest risk of falling and need home care. Figures released from the NHS Information Centre ahead of Falls Awareness Week revealed that women over the age of 80 accounted for 30.9 per cent of all fall-related admissions.
