Life Technologies Corporation (NASDAQ:LIFE) today announced results for its third quarter ended September 30, 2009. Non-GAAP revenue for the third quarter was $805 million, an increase of 3 percent over third quarter revenue of $784 million in 2008, as if Invitrogen and Applied Biosystems had been combined.
A new study has shown that poor sleep as a person reaches middle age could mean that the brain is prematurely ageing, equivalent to a decline of up to seven years.
To support the theme of this year's Diabetes Week (12–18 June 2016), Setting the record straight, leading diabetes company, Novo Nordisk, is launching a new online information resource, Hypo Hub, to provide practical information and guidance for people living with diabetes to better understand the often misunderstood signs and long term impact of hypoglycaemia (hypos).
In a pair of related studies, scientists from the Florida campus of The Scripps Research Institute have identified a number of new therapeutic targets for memory disorders and have developed a new screening test to uncover compounds that may one day work against those disorders.
