Abilities Neurological Rehabilitation is excited to announce a new, collaborative treatment program to help individuals in the Fraser Valley who are living with chronic physical and cognitive symptoms following brain injury.
At the 64th ASMS Conference, Bruker introduces an entirely new mass spectrometry technology platform: the innovative timsTOF™ system combines very high ion mobility resolution greater than 200, using Bruker's proprietary Trapped Ion Mobility Spectrometry (TIMS), with Bruker's ultra-high performance ESI-QTOF mass spectrometry.
Learning is easier when it only requires nerve cells to rearrange existing patterns of activity than when the nerve cells have to generate new patterns, a study of monkeys has found. The scientists explored the brain's capacity to learn through recordings of electrical activity of brain cell networks.
A specific biological response to cellular stress may predict the likelihood of future tumor formation of the most common, non-invasive form of pre-malignant breast cancer- ductal carcinoma in situ, or DCIS.
Through its CardioSmart patient initiative, the American College of Cardiology has issued guidance to encourage patients experiencing a heart attack or stroke to call 911.
