Masimo, the inventor of Pulse CO-Oximetry™ and Measure-Through Motion and Low Perfusion pulse oximetry, announced today that a new clinical study published in the March 2010 issue of Anesthesia & Analgesia, shows Masimo PVI successfully predicts the hemodynamic effects of Positive End-Expiratory Pressure in mechanically ventilated patients after cardiac surgery.
Women fighting breast cancer after a lumpectomy have a new weapon in the battle, now available at Jupiter Medical Center's Foshay Cancer Center. Today, the hospital began treating patients with the Multi-Lumen MammoSite(R) device, just approved in September by the FDA.
Three studies to be published in the August 2016 issue of the Journal of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry report that combining two standard medications could lead to greater clinical improvements for children with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) than either ADHD therapy alone.
