NanoString Technologies, Inc., a provider of life science tools for translational research and molecular diagnostic products, today announced nationwide availability of the Prosigna™ Breast Cancer Prognostic Gene Signature Assay beginning in the first quarter of 2014.
A small study, previously posted to the medRiv preprint server in early March, was recently published in the journal Science Immunology. The now peer-reviewed research led by E. John Wherry of the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine finds people previously exposed to severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) produced a more robust immune response after receiving the first — but not the second mRNA vaccine.
Scancell Holdings Plc, the developer of therapeutic cancer vaccines, announces that a treatment utilising a DNA vaccine based on its ImmunoBody® technology, in combination with ImmuneRegen BioSciences, Inc.®'s lead compound, Homspera®, has significantly improved the immune response of the vaccine in an animal model. Follow-up studies are currently being performed to optimize the effects of Homspera in enhancing the next generation of Scancell's cancer vaccines.
Dr Jane O'Connell, Australia's first endorsed nurse practitioner specialising in emergency care, is leading the way in re-defining the role specialty nurse practitioners play in the health system.
The state's regulators didn't raise concerns about premium increases for the 10 plans in California's online marketplace. In addition, enrollment efforts make news in Missouri and Minnesota.
