Next Generation Sequencers have found their way into service providing labs and the global biomedical research community. 2010 has seen a serious uptake of Next Generation Sequencing technology, and today it is perceived as an indispensable tool.
InflaRx announced today the successful completion of its recent clinical phase I study investigating its lead drug candidate IFX-1, a new first in class monoclonal antibody inhibiting complement driven inflammation. The trial reached its anticipated endpoints, demonstrating that IFX-1 is safe and well tolerated while displaying desirable PK and PD parameters.
Disparities in breast cancer mortality continue to be unacceptably high in Chicago and significantly larger than the national average according to new data released today at a rally sponsored by the Metropolitan Chicago Breast Cancer Task Force. The Task Force also announced results of the first year of data collection by the Chicago Breast Cancer Quality Consortium, which found many hospitals in Chicago are not meeting accepted quality standards.
