According to a Federal Government report there are now more births via In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) treatment than ever before in Australia. There has been a 45% rise in the number of babies born through IVF and other treatments between 2004-08, according to the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare report released today. In 2008 there were 10,509 babies born through fertility treatments in Australia.
Revolutions Medical Corporation begins collaboration with H. Keith Brown, PhD, Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, on two clinical applications using their proprietary Magnetic Resonance software tools; RevDisplay, RevColor and Rev3D. One clinical application is for the differentiation and characterization of Intracranial Hemorrhages by Color MRI Automatic Segmentation and the other is for characterization of intracranial masses by Color MRI Automatic Segmentation.
By the time unambiguous signs of memory loss and cognitive decline appear in people with Alzheimer's disease, their brains already are significantly damaged, dotted with clumps of a destructive protein known as amyloid beta.
