Allied BioScience, a Plano, Texas-based biotechnology company announced today it has received an approved label from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for SurfaceWise, a new bacteriostatic surface coating that inhibits the growth of and provides continuous protection against bacteria, fungi and algae which cause odor, staining and discoloration in various commercial settings, including hospitals and sports facilities.
Loyola University Chicago and Trinity Health have signed a Letter of Intent that could lead to the consolidation of Trinity Health and the Loyola University Health System, a wholly owned subsidiary of the University.
A Singapore team led by clinician-scientists and researchers from the National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS) discovered a genetic link to better predict treatment response for relapsed/refractory patients with natural- killer T-cell lymphoma (NKTCL), a highly aggressive form of blood cancer.
