Mayo Clinic researchers are presenting new findings on the early treatment of child and adolescent attention deficit hyperactivity disorder this week at the American Academy of Childhood and Adolescent Psychiatry annual meeting in San Francisco.
The new collaborative research agreement between Human Longevity Inc. and the University of California, San Diego, announced today, represents a significant and necessary step in efforts to research and translate the potential of the human genome into novel and real treatments and therapies able to change and improve the human condition.
Greek researchers demonstrated the potential of a self-administered virtual supermarket cognitive training game for remotely detecting mild cognitive impairment (MCI), without the need for an examiner, among a sample of older adults.
The Association of Faculties of Medicine of Canada (AFMC), along with other organizations in Canada including the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada and the Canadian Institutes for Health Research, is in strong support of rigorous scientific research to determine the possible link between blood vessel anomalies and multiple sclerosis and the potential benefits of surgical intervention to relieve its symptoms.
