Solos Endoscopy, Inc. is pleased to announce that the Company has completed a capital restructuring initiative as part of a previously announced recapitalization plan in order to position itself for growth over the next twelve months. The restructuring involved a common stock consolidation that took effect November 24, 2010. As a result of this announcement, the stock symbol will be changed temporarily to SNDYD for a period of 20 business days after November 24, 2010.
A new oral agent under review by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is safe and effective in treating relapsed and treatment-resistant multiple myeloma, according to a multicenter, Phase II study presented by Mount Sinai School of Medicine researchers at the American Society of Hematology (ASH) Annual Meeting. The meeting is taking place December 8-11, 2012 in Atlanta.
In a long-term follow-up study among approximately 200,000 Nordic twin individuals, there was an increased cancer risk in twins whose co-twin was diagnosed with cancer, with an increased risk for cancer overall and for specific types of cancer, including prostate, melanoma, breast, ovary, and uterus, according to a study in the January 5 issue of JAMA.
Research in mice shows that a pharmacological strategy can alleviate multiple behavioral and cellular deficiencies in a mouse model of fragile X syndrome, the most common inherited form of intellectual disability and a major single-gene cause of autism spectrum disorders.
