A new study in the February 2011 (Vol. 69, Issue 3) Biological Psychiatry appears to present a strategy for increasing the value of future rewards in the minds of addicts.
Scientists engineered stem cells to better understand the mechanisms behind a form of leukemia caused by changes in a key gene, according to a study led by Mount Sinai researchers and published online today in the journal Cell Reports.
The BMA today welcomed the publication of two Scottish Executive reports into the education and training of the medical workforce in Scotland acknowledging that they offered many solutions but, warned that they would only be successful if the recommendations are followed and effective action is taken now.
The scientific evidence is clear. As a result of extraordinary advances in biomedical research, we now have the tools we need to end the HIV epidemic in the United States. Or do we?
