Now, a new study by researchers at New York University and published on the preprint server bioRxiv* in August 2020 reports on the type and intensity of anti-SARS-CoV-2 antibodies in recovered COVID-19 patients and the implications of these findings.
A latest study from Harvard Medical School has found that Tai chi, often called "meditation in motion," appears to improve the quality of life in people with heart failure. The ancient Chinese exercise of tai chi features physical movements that are slow and gentle and require concentration. The study is published in the April 25, 2011 issues of the Archives of Internal Medicine.
Researchers at UCLA's Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center have developed an innovative drug-delivery system in which tiny particles called nanodiamonds are used to carry chemotherapy drugs directly into brain tumors.
Bacteria need mutations - changes in their DNA code - to survive under difficult circumstances. When necessary, they can even mutate at different speeds.
Cleaner hospitals are the top priority for Scots according to the results of a poll released by the British Medical Association (BMA), Sunday 26 June 2005. However bottom of patients' list of priorities was to have a choice for where they can have an operation.
