To develop training products for athletes of all sports, TIMEX, a leader in outdoor and sports performance timepieces, is joining forces with the University of Connecticut's Korey Stringer Institute on a number of research and educational studies about heart rate zone/GPS training and the importance of using proper training equipment, during and after training and competition.
CombinatoRx, Incorporated and Neuromed Pharmaceuticals Inc., a privately-held biopharmaceutical company, today announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued Neuromed a letter extending its review of the New Drug Application (NDA) for the product candidate Exalgo™ (hydromorphone HCl) extended-release tablets by three months.
Transgenerational bisphenol A exposure may contribute to autism, according to a mouse study published in the Endocrine Society's journal Endocrinology.
Researchers from PSG College of Technology, India have developed nano-contrast agents for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) as well as optical imaging of cancer cells. This report will appear in the forthcoming issue of the journal NANO.
Being able to identify microbes in real time aboard the International Space Station, without having to send them back to Earth for identification first, would be revolutionary for the world of microbiology and space exploration.
