New research has provided the first evidence that 'gender bending' chemicals which find their way from human products into rivers and oceans can have a significant impact on the ability of fish to breed in UK Rivers.
I applaud Chairman Baucus and his working group of senators for their bipartisan work on health reform. By introducing a bill today, Chairman Baucus has moved our nation forward on the difficult yet important road to reform.
Many chemicals used at home and in various industries use per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). Several studies have traced these substances in materials used for packaging foods, such as microwavable bags and food containers.
