However a recent study shows that these devices may be particularly useful for emergency radiologists, who in the near future, may be able to use them for teleconsultation and emergency procedures, according to a study published in the February issue of the American Journal of Roentgenology.
The University of Virginia (UVA) NCI-designated Cancer Center recently made the move from a comparatively sophisticated home-grown clinical trials management system (CTMS) to the OnCore Clinical Research Management System (OnCore-CRM) from Forte Research Systems, Inc.
The Association for Molecular Pathology (AMP) commends the Secretary's Advisory Committee for recognizing the importance of professional and public education and training in genetics and addressing the needs in this area. AMP offers a number of continuing education programs for health professionals in genetics and genomics, including the AMP annual scientific meeting, outreach courses to health professionals, a review course in molecular genetic pathology, and online webinars geared to health professionals.
Enrolling young people in the marketplaces is vital to making those exchanges work and some critics are trying to keep those health people off the exchanges.
"In many parts of India, teenagers and housewives are now donning the garb of health volunteers and convincing pregnant women to deliver in hospitals, and not at homes," the Times of India reports, and profiles Lata Ravikar, "one of the many ordinary women who are leading a silent revolution in urban slums and villages across the country."
