Varian, Inc. announced today that Bruker Corporation and Agilent Technologies, Inc. have entered into a definitive asset purchase agreement pursuant to which Bruker will acquire certain product lines of Varian. As previously announced, Agilent committed to divest those product lines in connection with obtaining regulatory approval for Agilent's pending acquisition of Varian.
Research in monkeys suggests that the natural plant estrogens found in soy do not increase markers of breast cancer risk in postmenopausal women. In fact, they may provide a protective effect in some women. The research is reported in Cancer Research.
For the 19th consecutive year, MedAire (booth 775) will offer free cholesterol screening to attendees of the 62nd Annual National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Meeting and Convention.
