Trellis Bioscience LLC and Open Monoclonal Technology, Inc. today announced a new collaboration where the companies will join forces to generate human antibodies against therapeutic targets identified by Trellis and its partners using OMT's OmniRat platform.
Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, one of the top academic medical centers in the United States, has awarded a five-year, $25 million contract for medical equipment and health IT consulting services to Siemens Medical Solutions USA, Inc. With the addition of Siemens medical imaging equipment and software, Rush will become one of a select group of medical centers in the country incorporating the concept of an interventional platform within its facility.
Despite a common belief that peer pressure against high academic achievement is prevalent among black students, a new study conducted by researchers at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Duke University shows that that's not usually true.
A test that detects antibodies against Zika virus in samples of blood serum with high specificity - and hence a low risk of cross-reaction with related microorganisms such as dengue virus - is set to come on to the Brazilian market before 2018 is out.
