The U.S. Food and Drug Administration today alerted consumers, health care providers and other users of thermal imaging systems intended to measure human body temperature—also known as telethermographic systems, infrared thermographs, thermal cameras, and "fever cameras"—that improper use of the systems may provide inaccurate temperature readings due to a variety of factors.
Cancer patients in the Southeast now have access to the world's most advanced radiation treatment system. MD Anderson Cancer Center Orlando has installed the first TomoHD System in Florida.
The Washington AIDS Partnership today announced that the second phase of an innovative campaign to increase awareness and use of the female condom as a tool for HIV prevention will launch across the District this week.
