A recent study published on the preprint server bioRxiv by scientists from Yale School of Medicine, University of California, Yale School of Public Health, Yale University, and Howard Hughes Medical Institute examined the impact of SARS-CoV-2 infection on the central nervous system.
Researchers at Cleveland Clinic have developed a new tool called CRC-PRO that allows physicians to quickly and accurately predict an individual's risk of colorectal cancer, as published in the current edition of the Journal of the American Board of Family Medicine.
Only about half of infants born to HIV-infected mothers in some African countries receive a minimum preventive dose of the drug nevirapine to help reduce the risk of mother-to-child HIV transmission, according to a study in the July 21 issue of JAMA, a theme issue on HIV/AIDS.
