An observational study in nearly 20,000 individuals has found that greater intake of red and processed meat is associated with worse heart function.
Penn Medicine researchers, in a continuation of their groundbreaking work to better understand how anesthesia works in the body, have found the first new class of novel anesthetics since the 1970s. Their findings, published in February issue of Anesthesiology, detail the processes through which the group uncovered these compounds.
For the fourth year in a row, Anthem Life Insurance Company supports Disabled Sports USA's Warfighter Sports program to help severely injured service men and women rebuild their lives through sports with a ski event in the Tahoe ski area in Olympic Valley, California, from April 4 through April 6.
