Cognoptix announced today that it has reached the halfway point in a multi-site clinical trial of its SAPPHIRE II eye test designed to identify Alzheimer's disease patients via a beta amyloid ("Ab") signature in their eyes.
The interindividual variability of response to subcutaneously applied protein-based drugs remains poorly understood. UK cancer research is helping to deliver significant clinical improvements for cancer patients, according to a study published in the British Journal of Cancer.
After discussion with the Public Health Agency of Canada, and based on the evidence for other adjuvanted vaccines as well as experience around the world to date with the adjuvanted H1N1 vaccine, Canadian experts say that both the adjuvanted and non-adjuvanted H1N1 vaccines are safe for pregnant women.
