The United States Patent and Trademark Office today awarded St. Jude Children's Research Hospital U.S. patent number 8,399,645 for St. Jude's invention of compositions for genetically modifying human immune cells so they can destroy some of the most common forms of cancer in children and adults.
Researchers at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Fla., have found that when they deplete a smoker's self control, smoking a cigarette may restore self-control.
MD Biosciences (MDB), a contract research organization offering pre-clinical services and products in support of drug discovery for inflammatory and neurological diseases, relocated its U.S. office from 1000 Westgate Dr, St Paul, MN to 2575 University Ave W, St Paul, MN on October 3, 2009.
An international consortium of researchers working under the auspices of Autism Speaks, the world's largest autism science and advocacy organization, has announced new genetic discoveries from the second phase of its collaborative study: the Autism Genome Project. The results were published today in the journal Nature, one of the world's most respected peer-reviewed scientific publications.

This second area of learning is the frontal cortex the area immediately behind the forehead - where executive function is located.
