Acne is not a condition that anyone would welcome under normal circumstances, but an international study of a new targeted cancer treatment – cetuximab – has shown that patients who developed an acne-like rash responded better to the treatment than those who did not.
A landmark nationwide study, published in the journal Pediatrics, is the first ever to prospectively examine the decision-making process of over 4,000 mothers and their physicians around the readiness of mothers and their infants to leave the hospital after childbirth.
"It would appear that American doctors have a long way to go compared to Russian doctors who are, after recognizing the limited results with traditional drugs, are now successfully testing natural remedies," according to nutritional researcher Peter Gillham.
