Researchers from Emory's Rollins School of Public Health developed a sudden cardiac death (SCD) predictive model that can help identify and prevent the disease in individuals at high risk.
In a study published in the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA) journal Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology, researchers found that a high body mass index (BMI) and lack of physical activity were associated with an increase in GI symptoms such as stomach pain, diarrhea, constipation and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
Transparent Health Network today announced the addition of Manhattan's Physician Group (MPG), the largest multi-specialty group in New York City, to its provider network. A new health care access plan that advocates for the working uninsured by negotiating dramatically reduced fees that are 35 to 60% lower than the "retail" fees typically charged to patients without insurance, Transparent Health Network is not insurance.
