In a unique collaborative paper in PLoS Medicine , Georgetown University Medical Center's Adriane Fugh-Berman and a former Eli Lilly drug rep reveal the tactics used by drug reps to manipulate physicians into selling drugs.

Noninvasive fetal genetic sequencing done early in pregnancy is poised to become a routine part of prenatal care.
A first-of-its-kind study led by Texas Children's Hospital and Baylor College of Medicine, published online in the journal, Circulation, found that infants with hypoplastic left heart syndrome born far from a hospital providing neonatal cardiac surgery for HLHS have increased neonatal mortality, with most deaths occurring before surgery.
