The Centres for Disease Protection and Control (CDC) says outbreaks of the new H1N1 swine flu continue to spread across the United States and the swine influenza virus is expected to spread to all 50 states and to cause many infections ranging from mild to severe.
Around Christmas a few years ago, Princeton University economist Uwe Reinhardt was looking forward to a holiday dinner when his wife told him he shouldn't bother setting a place for himself. She had scheduled a colonoscopy for him for the next day.
Studies have shown that Alzheimer's disease (AD) incidence increases with age. This association with age also correlates with deposits of abnormal tau protein in the brain found a new study.
