E-cigarette "vaping" is widely assumed to be safer than cigarette smoking, but scientists at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine have uncovered evidence suggesting that vaping promotes the same cellular responses found in smokers who suffer with emphysema.

A new University of Rochester Medical Center project creates a partnership with mothers who are not likely to breastfeed exclusively, and tries to improve the rates by first understanding their perspective and obstacles.
The survey findings are being published today in a new report by the Ponemon Institute titled, Health Data at Risk in Development: A Call for Data Masking. The survey was sponsored by Informatica Corporation, the world's number one independent leader in data integration software.
